The Faith Garden is a ministry of Faith United Methodist Church. Our hope is that the garden is meeting, and will continue to meet, the following two objectives:
1. be a natural place that facilitates community building between all Bellefonte residents.
2. provide local, naturally grown produce to people who may not otherwise be able to afford it and/or may not have previously been interested in it.
The garden is a joint effort of all those who desire to be involved. A portion of the harvest is donated to the FaithCentre to be used for the Bread of Life nutrition and cooking education program. The remainder of the produce is shared among those who have worked toward the production of the vegetables. As this is our second growing season, we are continuing to explore more ways the garden can serve the Bellefonte community. Your suggestions are welcome.
